In 2000 we were fortunate enough to be engaged in a process improvement initiative to make major improvements to the efficiency of an organization’s customer service delivery processes. Although attempts were made prior to 2000 to streamline the organizations processes and create efficiencies often these solutions simply resulted in inefficiencies moving from one part of the process to another.

Examples of Methodologies that we use

  • Total quality management
  • Six Sigma
  • Lean
  • Baldridge Quality Assessment
  • Supply chain
  • Value chain

Using Simulation to Conduct Process Improvement

Using simulation technology we were able to visualize how work flowed throughout the entire process, determine where bottlenecks and inefficiencies appeared and identify interdependencies between various activities.  In addition we were able to simulate the impact various potential solutions would have on the entire process before investing in a costly pilot project that may or may not have worked.
